It is *so* interesting to wonder who the *they* are in his song!
I remember a religious person who was a radio commentator talk about how certain selections of music were “not biblical”… the song was entitled “Heaven is waiting for you”, I loved the tune… but because *he* thought it conflicted with *his* view on the Bible it was ruled out…

Sting is an amazing …
Sting is an amazing artist, and has been a favorite artist of my family’s for many year. I love how his music is so capturing and has depth. Don’t get me wrong, because I love the current R and B music and pop albums too, but music with a purpose is refreshing.

I have a friend who …
I have a friend who is now resident in Ireland having come from Chile when Pinochet first came to power.He told me first hand what is was like to live under his rule and it would make the hair stand on the back of your neck.He is here since 1974 and now goes back as often as possible.

I choke up every time I hear this song. I believe the lasting legacy of our CIA may be overthrowing benevolent socialist leaders in South America and replacing them with brutal and hateful dictators like Pincohet.

I do a level performing arts & we are doind improvisastion drama about the pinochet years and its actually been really interested and educational u dont realise wt other cultures go thru.. we tke our freedom 4 granted..we had to do a drama pice 2 this song and pin pictures 2 our clothes and walk around in complete silence no eye contact nothin few soldiers waklkin rwnd kicking us represents wt went on really doesnt it?? x
